Andrea Rocco

Andrea Rocco was born in São Paulo in 1977. She studied painting and drawing at Parsons School (New York), graduated in Fashion Design from Santa Marcelina College and Art Education from FAAP, where she also graduated in art history. The artist has participated in numerous exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, such as "Brazilian Modern: Icons and Innovation" in Brussels (2012), and "Arte pela Amazônia", at the Fundação Bienal de São Paulo (2008). The artist was awarded first prize at the FAAP Annual Art Exhibition in 2003 and with an honorable mention in the 2006 edition. The artist is currently living and working in Lisbon, Portugal.
