Deborah Paiva

Graduated in the USP History Course. Since the 1990s, she has exhibited in the main cultural spaces of São Paulo (MAM, Paço das Artes, Centro Cultural São Paulo, Centro Universitário Maria Antonia, ITAU Gallery) and other capitals (Palácio das Artes, BH, MAM, Bahia , MAC, N iterói, FUNARTE, Rio and São Paulo). 


She held individual exhibitions in institutional spaces - Centro Cultural SP (1990); Itaú Galerias (1995); Centro Universitário Maria Antonia (2003); MAC Campinas (2015) and Art Galleries - Marilia Razuk Gallery (1997, 1999, 2005); Virgilio Gallery (2010, 2012). She participated in important Collective Exhibitions such as PANORAMA DA ARTE (MAM edition 1997, curated by Tadeu Chiarelli), "ANOTHER LOOK" (Museum Lasar Segall 2012, curated by Aracy Amaral), "THE SPIRIT OF EVERY TIME" (O ESPIRITO DE CADA ÉPOCA) (Instituto Figueiredo Ferraz 2015).


In her trajectory she had texts about her work by critics such as: Lorenzo Mammi (1995); Tadeu Chiarelli (1996); Alberto Tassinari (1997), Juliana Monachesi (2003), Juliana Moreira (2010), Afonso Luz (2012). Worked in the educational of the 29th São Paulo Biennial (2010), conducting formations on Contemporary Art for teachers and general public.  Holds the course "Free Atelier: Contemporary Painting" at the Tomie Ohtake Institute. Collaborates with illustrations for the Sunday book "Ilustríssima" of Folha de São Paulo.
